I’ve always been a lover of fashion and being true to yourself, no matter how others may perceive you. When I was young I expressed myself a lot through my everyday style. This is something I ended up suppressed as a closeted teenager, in an attempt to blend in. As a fully grown adult, I’ve circled back around to my childhood mindset of “why blend in when you can stand out!”

  • Transferred from the University of Mary Washington to the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts to pursue a BA in Fashion with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising

  • I currently work in retail as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble @ VCU. I previously worked at a restaurant as a hostess. My skills from working include costumer service, coordination, and hospitality.

  • I am on the programming committee for Eco-Fashion, a VCU student organization focused on sustainability in the fashion industry.
